ノックスチャーチ

 

ダニーデンの街で目印となるのが、このノックスチャーチです。自分たちが宿泊したホテルからは徒歩５分くらいの距離にあります。

Bluestone on george hotelはその名のとおりジョージストリート沿いにありますので大変分かりやすいです。ホテルからノックスチャーチを超えて、真っ直ぐ１５分ほど坂を下って歩いていくと１５分ほどで街の中心部、オクタゴンに到着します。

 

この、ノックスチャーチを過ぎたあたりからオクタゴンにかけて、ずーーーっとSHOPが並び始めます。今回、この教会には入りませんでしたが、昼間に訪れるかたはクリスチャンでなくとも、ぜひ１度入って心を静めてみてはいかがでしょうか？

何年か前に、ニースのシャガール美術館に行った事がありますが、教会の前に来ると、シャガールの世界観が想い浮かびました。

 

This Knocks church serves as a mark in the town in Dunedin.
It is in about [ on foot 5 minute ] distance from the hotel where one stayed.
Since Bluestone on george hotel is in along George Street as the name suggests, it is very intelligible.
If you go down and walk along the hill about 15 minutes straight across the Knocks church from the hotel, the central part of a town and an octagon will be reached in about 15 minutes.
 Many shops begin to be located in a line [ an octagon ] from the hit which passed this Knocks church.
How about 1 time going into it by all means, and suppressing  the heart by visiting in the daytime, even if  you are not Christian, although it did not go into this church this time? Although I had gone for some years ago  or a front to the Chagall art museum in Nice, when it came in front of the church, Chagall's view of the world considered and appeared.
